Where context
changes everything.

The same build decisions carry different weight in different sectors. These are the nine we know well enough to be useful in from week one.

What sector experience means

Not a template.
A shorter list of surprises.

Sector experience is one of the more overclaimed things in this industry, so it is worth being precise about what we mean by it. We do not mean a template with your vertical’s stock photography on it. We mean knowing, before the first workshop, which constraints are real, which are folklore, and which will surface in month three if nobody raises them in week one.

A booking flow, a donation form and a subscription checkout are the same engineering problem wearing three different compliance regimes. What changes between them is who has to approve the copy, which regulator cares about the failure states, how long the buying decision takes, and what the person on the other end is anxious about while they fill it in.

These are the nine sectors where we have enough repeat evidence to be useful from week one. Outside them we are still capable — we would just be learning your context on your budget, and we would say so before you commissioned anything.

What does not change

Four things that hold
in every sector.

Context changes the constraints and the sequence. It does not change how the engagement is run or what you own at the end of it.

01

The diagnostic comes first

Whatever the sector, the engagement opens with a fixed-price diagnostic against your analytics, your support tickets and your codebase — not against a template of what companies like you usually need.

02

Accessibility is not an upsell

WCAG 2.2 AA is a build requirement in every sector we work in, because the legal exposure differs by market but the person who cannot complete your form does not.

03

Compliance shapes architecture

Retention rules, audit trails, consent and data residency are architectural decisions. Retrofitting them after launch is the single most expensive rework we get called in to do.

04

Ownership does not vary

Code in your repositories, infrastructure in your accounts, documentation good enough for another team to take over — in regulated sectors and unregulated ones alike.
